ANCHORAGE, AK, Nov. 12, 2007 -- WHPacific, an engineering, architectural and surveying firm operating in eight states, recently announced the appointment of national business line managers to lead six key areas of business—transportation, land development, water resources, architecture, building engineering and survey. John Rense, president of WHPacific made the announcement. WHPacific is currently a group of affiliated companies including several that operate under the name ASCG.
"The new business line organization will allow us to focus on the best resources and practices for our clients, and will allow us to offer more company capabilities when compatible with our other activities," Rense said.
"These are exciting times for our company," said Executive VP/Chief Operating Officer Gary McNeil. "The transformation to a unified 'WHPacific' is proceeding very well and identifying these business line managers is an important step in this transformation."

WHPacific also announced a new Principal in Charge of Survey: Andy Potts, PLS. Andy will be responsible for overall operations of the Survey Business Line He has over 40 years of professional surveying experience, including 29 with the company.
ASCG Incorporated (www.ascg.com) is transitioning to a one-company organization under the new name WHPacific, Inc. All the ASCG group of companies will operate under the WHPacific name by January, 2008. The company is a minority business enterprise as certified by the National Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc. WHPacific is wholly owned by NANA Development Corporation of Anchorage, Alaska. The company provides a broad range of services including engineering, architecture, surveying and planning to commercial and governmental clients nationwide. WHPacific has 17 offices in Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas and Washington.
